The official final result of the 2010 Broker of the Year election has been announced
With the end of yesterday, also ended the Broker of the year election Around 45,000 people interested in finance took the opportunity to vote for the Broker of the Year 2010 in eight categories. In addition to the already known categories, online brokers, day trading brokers, futures brokers, fund brokers, certificate brokers, CFD brokers and Forex brokers, the team of Broker-Test.de determined the ETF broker of the year for the first time.
Voters once again made it exciting at the tenth anniversary of the broker poll. The top places in some categories were fiercely contested right up to the last minute.
Online Broker of the Year 2010 was last year's winner comdirect. It relegated Cortal Consors and Sparkassen Broker to second and third place. In the day trading segment, Cortal Consors impressively defended its title, beating out the Kulmbach-based Group subsidiaries ViTrade and flatex.
In the forex brokers, newcomer X-Trade Brokers secured a photo-finish victory ahead of ActiveTraders and Alpari. The title of ETF Broker of the Year, determined for the first time, was won by DAB bank, closely followed by comdirect and the Austrian broker brokerjet.

The award ceremony for the "Broker of the Year 2010" will be one of the highlights of the Invest financial fair, which will take place on Saturday, April 24 at 4.30 pm on the stage of the Stuttgart Stock Exchange. The event will be hosted by the popular TV stock market correspondent Holger Scholze and the derivatives expert from the Stuttgart Stock Exchange Mike Michal.
