At currently 70.28 points, the transaction cost index in June 2010 nevertheless remains at an almost constant level and only just above the lows of August 2008 (69.02 points).<\/p>\n<p>The reason for the increased transaction cost index is a change in the price structure of OnVista Bank's Classic securities account, for which a commission scale has applied since June 1. For low order volumes of up to 1,000 euros, the fixed commission is reduced to 4.99 euros. For transactions with an order volume of more than 1,000 euros, the order commission changes to 6.49 euros and for transaction volumes of more than 15,000 euros, 7.99 euros are due.<\/p>\n<p>However, the index will tend to settle at a level of around 70 points over the next 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>A detailed overview and independent comparison of online brokers for people interested in finance is available free of charge at www.broker-test.de.
