Anyone visiting the SEBdirect website these days is greeted with an error message. Almost quietly, the SEBdirect offering has disappeared from the market. The reason for this was the sale of SEB Bank's private customer business to Santander Consumer Bank. However, this has no further impact on the transaction cost index. This remains unchanged with a level of 72.39 points. This is because there was already an adjustment of the conditions in the run-up to the sale, which had already been included in the Transaction Cost Index<\/a> have been incorporated. About the Transaction Cost Index<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Broker-Test.de Transaction Cost Index represents the ongoing development of average transaction costs since July 2000 on a monthly basis. The starting point is July 2000 with an index value of 100. The transaction cost index includes the transaction costs incurred for ten different order volumes with the online brokers relevant in Germany.
