The Transaction Cost Index<\/a> remains unchanged this month at 72.39 points. As already addressed time and again, should the choice of the broker<\/a> not be made dependent solely on transaction costs.<\/p>\n

The focus of the choice of broker should first be the Services offered by the broker<\/a> and the question of whether this fits the personal investment behavior. With most online brokers, investors can even save costs, because many discount brokers offer interesting promotions again and again, like freetrade promotions, flatfee promotions and much more<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is especially interesting for those investors who use the wide range of investment instruments - i.e. warrants in addition to shares, Certificates<\/a>, ETFs, ETCs, Fund<\/a> etc. As a rule, over-the-counter trading is the linchpin of these activities. About the Transaction Cost Index<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Broker-Test.de Transaction Cost Index represents the ongoing development of average transaction costs since July 2000 on a monthly basis. The starting point is July 2000 with an index value of 100. The transaction cost index includes the transaction costs incurred for ten different order volumes with the online brokers relevant in Germany. Thus, it also includes fluctuations due to the market entry of new brokers or the market exit of brokers.<\/p>\n
