The average order fees of the Online brokers relevant in Germany<\/a> remain favorable compared with May 2011. The transaction cost index for June 2011 remains at a low level of 70.20 points.<\/p>\n

Even though there has been no change in pure transaction costs compared to last month, there is positive news for investors. For example, the OnVista Bank active new customers a 5g gold bar<\/a> and the DAB bank gives new customers 2.6% interest on call money<\/a> and up to 50g of gold or trading for 4.95 euros per order. Cortal Consors offers new customers 4.5% interest on call money<\/a>if they switch their securities account completely to Cortal Consors. In addition, many brokers again offer various freetrade actions<\/a>, within the framework of which traders can save on order fees.<\/p>\n

The Broker-Test.de Transaction Cost Index represents the ongoing development of the average Order fees for share trading<\/a> since July 2000 on a monthly basis. The starting point is July 2000 with an index value of 100. The transaction cost index includes the transaction costs incurred for ten different order volumes with the online brokers relevant in Germany. Thus, it also includes fluctuations due to the market entry of new brokers or the market exit of brokers.
\nThe transaction cost index had its lowest value to date in August 2008 with a value of 69.02 points.<\/p>\n

By way of comparison, the average transaction costs of traditional branch banks are around 300 points higher than the transaction cost index of online brokers, i.e. a trade there is on average more than four times more expensive than with an online broker.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
