The 2013 Broker of the Year election, held from March 11 to April 10, 2013 by Broker-Test.de<\/a> has been organized, has been decided.<\/p>\n

In the main category \"Online Broker of the Year 2013\", the\u00a0comdirect<\/a>\u00a0just before\u00a0Cortal Consors<\/a>\u00a0which won this title last year. The third place was won by the\u00a0Savings Banks Broker<\/a>\u00a0before the\u00a0OnVista Bank<\/a>,\u00a0flatex<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0LYNX Broker<\/a>\u00a0secure. In the six other categories of the broker poll, there were again some very close results and also some surprises.<\/p>\n

In the day-trading broker category, Cortal Consors took the title again for the first time after a two-year break. In the two previous years, the Berlin-based broker\u00a0ViTrade<\/a>\u00a0took first place, relegated by a razor-thin margin to second place this year. Third place was secured by flatex, as in 2012.<\/p>\n

In contrast\u00a0RBS marketindex<\/a>\u00a0defended its title of \"CFD Broker of the Year\". The CFD pioneer followed in 2nd place\u00a0CMC Markets<\/a>, the\u00a0Gekko Global Markets<\/a>\u00a0just behind them. In places 4-6 follow\u00a0X-Trade Brokers<\/a>, Admiral Markets and\u00a0ETX Capital<\/a>. So the German CFD market is still very competitive - but also constantly evolving!<\/p>\n

In the \"Futures Broker of the Year\" category, Cortal Consors took its second title in the 2013 election year - the Nuremberg-based company is slowly becoming a serial winner in the futures category. The runners-up from the previous year swapped places in 2nd and 3rd place - so this year LYNX Broker was just ahead\u00a0WH Selfinvest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Among Forex brokers could\u00a0JFD Brokers\u00a0<\/a>win for the first time. After having to settle for the unfortunate 4th place last year, this year it was enough to win for the first time. Second was here\u00a0Admiral Markets<\/a>which took part in the broker poll for the first time and thus managed to achieve a top placement right away. Third place was secured by GKFX ahead of Mayzus, WH Selfinvest and\u00a0ActivTrades<\/a>. This clearly shows how hotly contested the German Forex market is. The 2014 broker selection for Forex brokers therefore already promises a lot of excitement!<\/p>\n

Two title defenses at the same time managed the\u00a0DAB Bank<\/a>. The previous year's success was repeated in both the \"Certificate Broker of the Year\" and \"Fund and ETF Broker of the Year\" categories. In the Certificates Broker category, this was achieved ahead of Sparkassen Broker and OnVista Bank. In the \"Funds and ETF Broker of the Year\" category, DAB Bank came out on top ahead of\u00a0ING DiBa<\/a>\u00a0and the Sparkassen Broker.<\/p>\n
