The election for Broker of the Year 2016 has been decided. Almost 40,000 traders participated in the election, which took place from March 1 to March 31 at www.brokerwahl.de. And also this year, the broker election was exciting until the very end. Particularly in the categories certificates broker, CFD broker, Futures broker as well as fund & ETF broker was the distance between the Erstplazierten particularly closely. Some of the decisions were only made in the last two voting days.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the main category \"Online Broker of the Year 2016\", comdirect was able to repeat its success from the previous year and win again. It was closely followed by consorsbank, which had to settle for third place last year. This time, last year's runner-up DAB Bank finished in second place. However, the success of 2nd and 3rd place remains in the family, as both brokers belong to the BNP Paribas Group. The next 3 places were taken by ING DiBa, flatex and degiro.<\/p>\n

In the \"Certificates Broker of the Year 2016\" category, the same three brokers as last year made it onto the winners' podium - but this time in a new order: flatex as the winner (last year: third), DAB Bank again in second place and OnVista Bank (last year's winner) in third place - followed by VR ProfiBroker (the broker of the Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken), S Broker and maxblue.<\/p>\n

As in the previous year, Consorsbank secured the title of \"Daytrade Broker of the Year 2016\". In second place was degiro, which came fifth last year and was only narrowly beaten this year. The Kulmbach-based broker flatex landed in 3rd place - ahead of ViTrade, LYNX and CapTrader.<\/p>\n

After IG was narrowly beaten in the battle for \"CFD Broker of the Year\" last year, it took the title for the first time this year. It was followed very closely by Ayondo Markets, which was in 5th place in 2015 and focuses entirely on social trading. Third place went to last year's winner CMC Markets ahead of WH SelfInvest, XTB and FXCM.<\/p>\n

In the \"Futures Broker of the Year 2016\" poll, Consorsbank once again took first place after coming second in 2015. WH Selfinvest, which won the title in 2015, took second place this time. LYNX followed in third place ahead of CapTrader and OnVista Bank.<\/p>\n

However, the title was defended in the \"Fund and ETF Broker of the Year\" category - DAB Bank won the title once again. Second place went to ING DiBa, which had been in the lead for a long time and was able to improve significantly on last year (4th place). S Broker came third ahead of OnVista Bank, VR Profibroker and maxblue.<\/p>\n

In the seventh category, the \"Forex Broker of the Year 2016\" was chosen. There was a close final between GKFX and Admiral Markets. In the end, however, GKFX was just ahead of Admiral Markets and was able to defend last year's title. ActivTrades followed in 3rd place, having been in 5th place last year. Places 4-6 went to JFD Brokers, CMC Markets and X Trade Brokers (XTB) in 2016.<\/p>\n
