Already for the 19th time, the election for Broker of the Year took place at www.brokerwahl.de. In the period from 01 to 28 March 2019, traders could vote for their favorite broker in 6 categories.<\/p>\n
A total of almost 36,000 traders (previous year 33,000) took part in the 2019 broker poll.<\/p>\n
Compared to 2018, there was a new winner in 4 categories - only in two categories were the previous year's winners able to defend their title.<\/p>\n
In the ETF & Certificates Broker category, Consorsbank took the title ahead of flatex and OnVistaBank.<\/p>\n
In the futures broker category, WH SelfInvest came out on top ahead of Lynx and last year's winner Consorsbank.<\/p>\n
There was also a new winner among CFD brokers in 2019. Admiral Markets won the title for the first time and came out on top ahead of WH SelfInvest and CMC Markets.<\/p>\n
Among the Forex brokers, there was one of the two title defenses. GKFX was able to win first place here (as in the previous year), holding its ground ahead of ActivTrades and FXCM.<\/p>\n
In the day trading broker category, there was another change at the top. Degiro is the new Daytrade Broker of the Year - ahead of last year's winner Consorsbank and flatex.<\/p>\n
In the largest and most important category, comdirect was able to repeat its previous year's success and became \"Online Broker of the Year 2019\" - Consorsbank and Degiro followed in second and third place.<\/p>\n
The many changes at the top show that the brokerage market remains very dynamic and competition among brokers is fierce. Those who rest on their laurels today may miss the boat tomorrow and be left behind.<\/p>\n
Currently, there are a number of new brokers that rely on completely different business models and want to roll up the market from behind. How they want to do this, you will learn in the coming weeks and months on Broker-Test.de, the organizer of the broker election. And 2020 will then show how successful the new brokers are and whether the well-known brokers can remain dynamic enough to compete despite their size.<\/p>\n
