The election for Broker of the Year 2011 has begun. Until March 8, 2011, investors can vote for their favorite broker at www.brokerwahl.de. In a total of seven categories - Online Broker, Certificates Broker, Daytrade Broker, CFD Broker, Futures Broker, Forex Broker and Funds & ETF Broker - the candidates will be judged by investors.

Due to Nordnet's withdrawal from the German brokerage market, the Transaction Cost Index, which summarizes the order fees of the most important online brokers in Germany in one index, increases by 0.91 points to 72.23 points in November.
The average order fees at the relevant online brokers in German-speaking countries rose by 1.85 points compared with September. At currently 71.32 points, the transaction cost index in October 2010 has reached its highest level since June 2008.
